Henry needs a little help

As you will recall, little Henry was left to his own devices in his home when his owner was taken very poorly.  We're not 100% certain how long he was home alone for with someone popping into him, was more than days but we don't know about weeks; but it has had quite a profound effect on him.

He is an amazing young boy.  He's so loving, so eager to please, loves everyone and everything.

BUT, his seperation anxiety is a mountain which we are all climbing with him.

He has moved foster homes to be with some young playful dogs, which as you will see below he is enjoying immensely.  At night the resident dogs are crated, so as not to cause issues Henry is also crated, which is a learning curve for him, but one which must be overcome.  At some point in his life he will need to be left home alone for more than 10 minutes, and because of his anxiety which leads to his mission to destroy everything, crate training is essential.  He needs to know that he is safe, he's not being left forever and a crate can be his safe space.

As you can see from below, as we said it's a learning curve for him and his foster family.

Last night he shared a crate with his foster siblings, and he seemed to settle down a bit better, but our end goal is that Henry can be left alone in his crate on his own.

To help us achieve this we are looking for some help in the form of Adaptil!

If you are able to purchase a plug in or collar for Henry we believe this will help take the edge off and assist in his on going training.  We appreciate they are expensive so if you would rather donate a few pounds for Henry we are more than happy to purchase these items as a "group" purchase.

We've put the link below for his wish list and for donations, anything you can donate would be appreciated.

Here's Henry loving life with his foster siblings who keep him on his toes and in his place

Great work, no hound gets left behind. A true sentiment that is the embodiment of what this organisation is about. Great work team.

They do a good job of saving these hounds and finding special homes for life. They also work hard to raise money to pay for any vet bills.

We have the privilege of adopting Dylan. The whole process was seamless and very reassuring that they cover all bases, both in relation to vetting us and also in the assessment of the hound
