Please welcome 4 year old Gaston to the BRNGB family.
Gaston is under assessment and is not ready to be adopted so please now enquiries, however polite, nice and sweet they are, they will not be answered.
We were contacted by one of our transport volunteers recently who knows Gaston's family who has been helping them with coming to terms with the very difficult and heart-breaking decision to surrender this lovely boy. They've tried so hard to keep him but some dynamics with another resident dog just wouldn't work. Between Gaston and the other dog they knew that, with the other dog's issues it would Gaston that would be surrendered and they would continue to work hard with the other. Not a decision anyone would ever want to make, but a decision that, for the safety and happiness for all in the home had to be made.
When we were contacted by Gaston's family and after discussing with them we said, he's definitely more Beauty than Beast and he's more than welcome to Be Our Guest (see what we did there? Happy now Sam?) and he arrived today!
He was a dream to transport, he loved our volunteers and needed to have either a paw or a nose on them.
He arrived with his foster family and welcomed lots of belly rubs and decided that the stuffed broccoli was his most favourite thing in the whole wide world.
Gaston does need a few bits and pieces so we have included his wish list below. He will also need a vet check and to be neutered as soon as he is deemed fit and is settled. If you would like to donate to his care the links to his wish list and donations are below. As always anything donated on the wish list will remain with Gaston throughout foster to his forever home.
Thank you everyone who helped this boy and his family
