Yesterday the wonderful Elsie was finally spayed; after months of getting some weight off her; months of her seasons messing about; she has finally been able to keep a vet appointment!
She was due to be spayed on the 23rd April but was sent home with a perscription for Galastop as her mamorary glands were too large and full of fluid. We ask for perscriptions and buy the drugs on line where we can to make it a little bit cheaper (and of course, always from a reputable vet website). The Galastop cost £86.64.
Then of course there's the actual spay which cost £387.66. So in total that's £474.30 gone in a week on one hound (who is totally worth it!).
Then, there's Alfie who was neutered a week ago today, which cost £182.72.
So in 7 days we have spent £657.02 on two hounds alone, which of course we are not complaining about. Just letting you know where your donations go
So that's 65.70 raffle tickets we have spent!
You can help by buying a raffle ticket which not only helps the hounds but also give you the chance of winning a 2 night stay in the wonderful Elm Grove Country House B&B with a 10% discount for any additional nights you wish to tag onto the 2 nights
