Please welcome Barry to the BRNGB family. Barry has been with us only a few days and is settling into his foster home nicely.
Barry is around 9 years old and was becoming grumpy with the resident children as well as escaping on a regular basis. The family made the right decision in surrendering Barry to us and he was collected as an emergency by one of our fosters.
He will have a full medical, full assessment and then he will be ready to find his forever home.
Next is Dougie, a 2 1/2 year old Basset x Staffie. We are not just all about pure breeds and a basset cross is more than welcome in our family.
Dougie has been with us a couple of weeks now and is doing very well indeed. His favourite past time apart from playing with his new foster sister is having a nose out of the window – nothing better than a curtain twitcher!
Welcome to BuzzBee, who was 12 weeks old when he was surrendered to us.
He has a lot of growing up to do , is a fast learner, and is having a wonderful time tormenting his new foster brother and sister. Currently a 16 week old land shark!
Last but not least are Bobby and Tina. Please note these photos are graphic
Bobby and Tina were surrendered to us in an emergency. Their elderly owner was taken ill and we had literally hours to collect them and bring them to safety. These are not old hounds, but hounds who have been cared for by an elderly family who did their best. They will need substantial treatment, they are malnourished, have dental issues, untreated haematoma, needed their nails cut drastically and are generally in a very poor way. We know however that with the foster care they will receive, the love and care provided by you, our BRNGB family they will slowly recover and become the most amazing hounds.
They love humans, they are so bonded it is really is unbelievable. Tina relies on Bobby for comfort.
We are not here to bash any family, we are just so grateful that they contacted us and we could collect Bobby and Tina as quickly as we did and start them on their road to recovery.
They have already had a wish list and they are enjoying treats (see video below) and their beds.
Thank you so much to all of our foster families fo the love and care you are giving these hounds; the fosters who dropped everything to collect Barry, Bobby and Tina as emergency cases, the transporters who have collected hounds to move them to their foster families and all the love shown by our supporters for these hounds.
