As you will recall, Flash came into our care in December 2023, a very young, playful, puppy Basset / Collie.

We had Flash in foster and it became apparent that we couldn’t give him what he needed to find his forever home.  He was loved, and we tried so very hard to help him on his journey; but sometimes you just have to admit you are not the right rescue for a Basset/Collie.

Flash went to Borders Pet Rescue on the 1st April.  They are more suited to be able to help him on a one to one basis with training and finding him his perfect home.

He is doing really well and is proving to be what we knew of him, a wonderful, fast learning, playful, loving pup.

We will continue to follow Flash’s journey and will keep you updated; we have regular updates from Borders and we are still assisting with any vet bills as Flash was our responsibility.  We haven’t just pushed him off elsewhere.

His original foster family and Dawn who also fostered him, miss him terribly.  But as we say, we have to break our hearts to keep theirs intact.

See how happy he was on his arrival!

If you are interested in adopting Flash, or if you wish to follow his journey with Borders their details are below.

Be well Flash, and be good!
