13 month old Toby joined the BRNGB family on the 11th August.  He’s still very much a puppy in manners, demanding attention, stealing TV remotes and general puppy behaviour.

Toby is under assessment so please do not enquire about his adoption, any enquiries will go unanswered.

Toby’s original family’s committments meant that Toby was home alone for quite some time, they made the sad decision that he needed a home where someone would be around more for him.  The children in the family loved him dearly and sent a lovely card with him so he knows how loved he is.

Toby does have some resource guarding issues which his foster family are working on.  With time and training Toby will be a fabulous boy.

He’s very polite with other dogs and listens to them when he wants to play when out walking.  He respects when another dog tells him enough is enough and tones down the full throttle basset play he tries to instigate.  He’s begining to play with the resident dog and is showing nice manners in his play.

Toby has been very good at night-time and settles in the kitchen with the resident dog.

Toby’s initial vet visit was very good,  and he was given a clean bill of health.  The vet said he is a very healthy boy, weighs in at 17.9kg and she said he was at the perfect weight. Toby does need to be neutured, but we will let him settle in before he has the op.  He had his vaccinations and was a very good boy.

Don’t let the photo fool you, Toby eats very well, so well he thinks every hour is dinner hour!

Toby doesn’t need a wish list, however if you would like to donate to his care the link is below to do so, as well as the link to our current fundraiser where you could win up to £200.00 worth of Amazon Vouchers for £5.00.  Every penny donated either way will go towards Toby and all the other hound’s care.

Thank you as always for your continued support of us and our Hounds
