Lovely lad Hank joined the BRNGB family in the last couple of weeks.

Hank is under assessment and is not ready to be adopted, any applications for him will go unanswered.

Hank is 8 years old and had lived with his original family since a puppy along with their cat and in later years a small child.

Hank does have some resource tendencies when it comes to food and his own personal space (sounds like a hound after my own heart!)

He has been suffering with some leg pain but enjoys his walks……with a lot of sniffs.

After a couple of rocky first days Hank is settling into foster life well.  He needed to trust his foster family and boundaries needed to be agreed between all.  He happily plays with his toys, loves a belly rub and is enjoying his food.

Hank has had his vet check.  Although he was anxious and needed to be muzzled, his joints were checked which found one of his front legs to be a bit “creaky”; he does have an ear infection so we are waiting for the swabs to come back to show what medication is needed; the dreaded annal glands were also expressed.

All in all he’s a wonderful lad, with understanding of his space needs and waiting for him to come to you he’s going to be just fine.

If you would like to donate to Hank’s care the link is below.

Meanwhile, please do give him a big BRNGB welcome to the family
