Please do not apply for these hounds, they have only just arrived with us and are under assessment. Any applications will be ignored.

First up is Tuppie who arrived in the BRNGB Family over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Tuppie is just over 6 years old and has settled well in foster life, she loves cuddles, food and being bossy.

Sadly her family’s health changed so they made the decision to find her a new home via BRNGB.

She really is a beautiful girl

Meet Ada, who is a stunning 9 month old girlie.

She’s settled well into foster life after being surrendered by her family.

As you can see she loves an ice pop and puts on her bestest sad face until she’s offered a lick, and then the grin of winning that battle is amazing!

Last but definitely not  least is the lovely lady Treacle.

Treacle came in as an emergency when her owner was taken poorly.  She’s needed a few medical interventions, she’s had a polyp removed from her bottom which was causing her to pass blood.  She is a nervous girl, but so loving and kind once she gets to know you.

Treacle is currently on her way to her permanent foster after spending the last week or so with her emergency temporary foster family, where she will continue to receive medial care to get her fit and well for her forever home.

The three ladies above are all undergoing foster assessment and are 3 of the 17 hounds in foster care at the moment.

Foster assessments are carried out in our foster families homes, for a minimum of 6 weeks.  This can change depending on what care is needed, medical, emotional or behavioural.  Once our foster families and the team are happy that the hounds are ready for their for their forever homes they will be blogged.

During assessment all hounds are the financial responsibility of BRNGB; this is why we fund raise as we are a registered charity relying solely on donations.  Every penny raised goes directly to the hounds under our care and any future hounds.

We also give full rescue back up for life of the hounds who have become part of our family.  This means that we will support all families who adopt from us; be that emotional, helping the hounds settle into their new lives or, at times, continue to support financially for ongoing medical treatments which the hound will have for life.  Sadly some hounds arrive with expensive ailments which will require on going treatment.  To ensure that the hounds go to the best homes, without the worry of finances and if suitable and applicable we will continue to financially support the hounds for that ailment.  If we didn’t it would mean that the hounds are un-adoptable.

As always thank you to our foster families, transporters and supporters, without you we wouldn’t be able to help these beautiful girls.

Thank you for reading about the new BRNGB Hounds.
