Beautiful girl Doris is having surgery today. Since her arrival she has been to the vets a couple of times, been having drops and medication for her eyes which are destroyed with glaucoma.
The vets are hopeful that now the pressure has been reduced one eye will be saved; sadly however she will be having surgery today to remove one……..depending on how the vets feel about the other, possibly both will be removed.
She is such a sweet girl, and still so young so we are hopeful that once the surgery has been done, Doris will be on the road to recovery.
Please send lots of love and positivity for Doris and her foster family who are besides themselves that she is going through this awful time.
The surgery today will cost in the region of £1665.00 on top of the £760.00 spent on treatment already for Doris. We are sure you will agree every penny spent is worth it to give this beautiful girl the chance of a happy, healthy life.
