As we contemplate another year passed, and the future year, whilst enjoying a glass or two with family and friends, 4 and 2 legged, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all.

The last couple of years have been strange for all, turned upside and inside out.

We’ve faced “Lockdown” puppies being surrendered, we’ve faced hounds being surrendered due to the cost of living, we’ve faced hounds coming to us because their owners were taken ill or sadly passed away, circumstances changing; we’ve also helped many families stay together with their hounds.  In 2022 we have 49 Hounds come to us, that’s nearly 4 a month.

We can only imagine that we are going to get busier in the coming months whilst people struggle financially; but we’re ready, waiting and able.

We are able because of you wonderful folk who support us in any which way you can.

This year we’ve had Camp Basset and our annual auction organised by Sally; we’ve had two weekly winners every week on the bonus ball organised by Rosie and Jane;  we’ve had a Memorial Day organised by Wendy; we’ve had sponsored walks, swims, abstinence from chocolate organised by Alicia, Joe, Gill; we’ve had fabulous raffles and auctions; too amazing hampers donated by Wendy.  Thank you all ladies and everyone else we haven’t mentioned for all your continued donations of items and money.

Thank you to Mr Jeff who does all of our IT and website, without him we would be lost!

We’ve had foster families join us, continue to foster for us and be part of the family, thank you all.

We’ve had transport runs up and down the country, transport Angels, you are just that, thank you .

Our biggest thanks go to you however, our supporters, a share, a like, a sponsor, a raffle ticket, birthday donations, Christmas card donations, adopters, people who share our story, thank you.

Without all of you people those 49 hounds could be anywhere, instead they are safe and loved always.

Thank you never seems enough.

From our families to yours, have a wonderful Christmas and a very peaceful New Year, humans, hounds and everyone in between.

With love, Sam, Sam, Dawn and Jo (The BRNGB Team) xx
