The lovely Bear and Abigail, both in their “senior” years and loving life in foster.

Their adoption fees are £230.00 each.

So far they have both needed medical intervention, Abigail mainly for her epilepsy, Bear for his infected skin. Their bills separately are already over what their adoption fees would be.

They also need dental extractions. Not unusual for Hounds of their age. Something that we have undertaken to have completed before they are ready to be adopted. Both having to wait in foster until they were medically fit and stable for the general anaesthetic (not that they are complaining about their foster, they are having a ball!)

Whilst in foster we are liable for any medical bills, that’s including day to day items such as flea and worming.

Their dental estimates are below, these can increase if further extractions are required, both estimates are in excess of £750.00, so that’s £1500.00 minimum.

We don’t make any profit on hounds when they are adopted, each hound costs more than their adoption fee will be, but we always strive to ensure our Hounds get everything they need.

We have also this week had a Hound join the family (more about him later) and an abandoned hound that also needs our help desperately (more on him later too).

We cannot continue to do what we do without your support and donations.

If you are able to donate towards Bear and Abigail’s dental (which will be happening in the next week) you can do so via Paypal, via bank transfer, or via the website, all details are below.

If you are unable to support them financially, you can support them by sharing this post with your friends and family, fundraise yourself, cake sales, sponsored walk, sponsored silence, ask your employer if they would like to make a donation (we’ll give them a shout out)……or you can support them by sending your love.
