Meet the last four of the hounds currently in our care. Please note that these hounds are NOT ready to be adopted, any applications made for these Hounds will not be responded to.
Jusrt think if you adopted them all you too could be walking into 2023 like this!
We wanted to give you a little insight into what's going on behind the scenes with the hounds in our care, so meet 4 of the 16 hounds who are with us for the start of our 10th year!
Look at this lad, he's young at just 2 years old and a lovely x with a dachshund and sadly is showing signs of being reactive to traffic and people outside the home.
We truly believe this is fear and can be overcome with positive reinforcement training, a gentle guiding hand and a lot of love.
We are seeing a behaviourist for this lad and his wonderful foster family will continue working with him to ensure that he gets his happy ever after.
He loves toys, lived with children, loves his walks and the sound of his own voice when he's nosey out of the window!
Next up is this hunk, just over a year old who has a tendency to eat gravel and stones!
He's already had to have one lot of surgery before coming to us to remove stones from his tummy, so it really is eyes in back of head with this lad.
He needs a lot of brain training games and guidance to get him out of his puppy stage. He is currently undergoing hydrotherapy as he does have some issues with his legs which we are hoping will assist so he doesn't have to have surgery.
He appears to enjoy the attention and his time in the pool!
A lovely older gent who is loving his foster home so much we don't believe he will be leaving.
He's not a fan of the vets, but loves his sleep and his walks, all in all is a lovely soul in his slightly later years.
He has treatment for his aches and pains and enjoys tormenting his foster sibling.
This boy doesn't need any comment, he has his very own blog looking for his very own home!
Have a read and apply if you think you're the perfect match!
Whilst hounds are in our care that get all medical attention they require, they are fully assessed in foster homes so we get as much information as we can before they are ready to look for their forever homes.
We will use professional behaviourists if required, only using positive reinforcement methods. The team are on hand for the foster families 24/7.
We do everything we can to get a full picture of the hounds before they are adopted, regardless of what their back story is.
There will be further updates on the rest of the hounds over the coming days so do please pop back and have a look.
It would be amazing if you could share this blog where you can, the facebook share button is below
