What can we say about these wonderful girls?

Well this is what their foster family say:

Superb; wonderful; loving; funny; changes in their outlook in life every day…….

What more could we ask for?

Both girls have now had their dental; thank you to everyone who donated towards their bills. They were steep, but they needed the work doing as their mouths were in quite a state.

Poor Lulu had 20 teeth removed, and Pippa just the one; both also had a really good clean and descale which was desperately needed.

Both girls had quite an infestation of worms, the treatment doesn’t agree with Lulu, she’s a little under the weather with her tummy after her last worming treatment, but them nasty wigglies need to be gone for good.

They both still need to be spayed and this is booked for the coming months in line with their seasons.

They adore being close and having cuddles; are wonderful to be out and about meeting people and playing with other hounds on the local beaches. They have become the terrible three with their foster brother and get up to all sorts of mischief!

Oh, and they’ve both had birthday parties since they’ve been with us, spoilt totally with their own cakes!

They really are living their bestest lives now after their lives of breeding. We thank every one of you who has supported the girls to make this happen and of course their foster family who took them into their home, the first home these girls have ever lived in and helped them so wonderfully to transition into sofa surfers!

If you would like to donate towards the girls care and spay surgery, the link to do so is below, or you can purchase a ticket to be in with the chance of winning a staycation at the wonderful Hideaway at Halton

8th February 2026

Please welcome Pippa and Lulu into the BRNGB Family.

These lovely girls are, we believe mother and daughter. Lulu is 7 years old, soon to be 8, and Pippa is 3 years old, soon to be 4 (and is covered in naughty spots).

We were contacted by another specific breed rescue a couple of weeks ago, they had been asked to help remove dogs from a breeder as they were closing business. When they had been on the site they saw these two girls and asked if they were also no longer needed or required. As soon as they were told they could go they contacted ourselves. Things then changed and they were no longer being surrendered; then on Thursday we were told that they were being surrendered on Saturday! We had an emergency team in place to collect these girls.

What you can see in these pictures is they are both very bonded, crave human interaction and are as happy as larry to be on a sofa having a cuddle.

What you can’t see in these pictures is the grime, and ingrained dirt, and thankfully for you, you can’t smell them or see the state of the cars after their transport, travel tummies were definitely a thing yesterday!

Pippa is definitely the more sassy, chatty girl and more energetic in her needs and demands being met whilst Lulu has the making of being a basset blanket, to be draped across any lap going.

We think yesterday was probably one of their best days of their lives, if not the best. No more kennels, no more breeding, no more living outside with multiple other dogs, no more puppies…….

Today they are making their way to their foster home after spending an emergency night with another foster (things had to move quickly). Once there they will have a good bath, inspection, and a vet check arranged.

Both girls will need spaying, and of course anything else that they need will be provided to them.

As always, they are not ready to be adopted, please do not enquire about their adoptions, any enquiries will go unanswered.

The girls do not need a wish list at the moment, their foster has been on a mini shopping spree for them, which we are incredibly grateful for, in addition to the bits and pieces purchased for them yesterday so they could travel safely. They will have vet bills so if you would like to donate to these the link is below.

Don’t forget we also have the fabulous 2 night stay in the stunning Elm Grove Country House…..and have a look at our socials, there’s also the chance of winning a voucher for a New Forest Lodge Stay coming up

Thank you as always for your support, and to everyone who assisted in getting the girls out of where they were, to a warm, safe, cuddly environment.
