What can we say; well we may as well not beat about the bush (for a change!)
Bruno, you little heart, bed, sofa, heart stealer…you landed on your paws and found your forever home.
All the signs were there from when you first walked into your foster home and made yourself at home, befriended the cats and generally became the joker of the family.
So, all we can say is “Congratulations Bruno!” you got your pink sofa!
Thank you to everyone who supported Bruno, shared his adventures, volunteers and of course to his forever family!

Well little Bruno caused a stir when he arrived with discussions as to “what is he?” – we know what he is, he’s an adorable, playful, mischievous, clever, loving little boy (oh and all his paperwork states Basset just for the record!)
Bruno has settled in really well with his foster family, he’s a firm favourite of one of the resident cats who gives him lots of head bumps and body rubs.
Don’t let his face fool you, he did enjoy his little bath and he loves his toys.
He’s had his vet check up and was deemed a very healthy boy. He has also since then had his “big boy op” which he is recovering from really well, although his favourite game at present is turning himself into a blue caterpillar, which is currently his favourite game, of waiting for his human to rescue him!

Please welcome 3 year old Bruno who joined us at the weekend. As always, please do not make enquiries about Bruno as he is under assessment and is not looking for his forever home, any enquiries will be ignored at this time.
His surrendering owner couldn’t give a lot of information as they hadn’t had him very long, he’s a lovely boy, but sadly due to their own situation they were unable to keep him.
Bruno has been a star in foster, being very respectful of the resident cats, has met his foster parent’s grandson (human) and granddaughter (Sausage Dog!) and has been the perfect gent with both. He’s not confrontational, very submissive, and watches the cats’ and dog’s body language and will walk off if he thinks he’s too much.
Now he was supposed to be going to the vets this week, but with the heat, this has been postponed until next week. He appears to be healthy enough, but of course he needs his vet check as part of his assessment.
Bruno can be “flinchy” if a human makes a sudden movement with their hands near him. HIs foster mum moved her hand the other day moving something and he cowered to the ground. So we will be working with him with gentle hands and lots of love.
He’s settled into foster really well, a couple of small incidents in the house, but in these early days that’s to be expected.
