6 year old Obi joined the family yesterday. He is under assessment so please no enquiries regarding adoption as these will go unanswered.

We are officially closed for Christmas, but we will never say no to an emergency, and sadly Obi was one. Obi’s family had a very sudden and unexpected change in circumstances and they had no alternative but to reach out to us; heart breaking decision for all involved.

Obi is doing well, he does suffer with separation anxiety and he is following his foster family around and wants to be close to them as possible, which is totally understandable in these early hours and days. Don’t be fooled though he’s made himself perfectly at home, writhing around on the sofa in pure after dinner bliss; having lots of cuddles in front of the TV and generally taking everything in at his own pace. He’s had a little play with the resident dog and is doing well.

Obi doesn’t need much, just a new bowl but we’ve added some grain free treats as he missed out on the Foster Christmas treat bag donations. If you are able to donate to his wish list we would be grateful. If the list is empty all wishes have been granted.

If you would rather donate to Obi’s care the link is also below, as well as the link to this month’s raffle (which ends on the 15th December).

Thank you so much for your continued support and welcoming Obi
