Coffee for Bassets is coming back on the 26th May 2023.
What is Coffee for Bassets?
Since 2018 we have asked people to join in this annual fundraiser for the hounds in our care. All you wonderful folk need to do is donate the price of a coffee on Friday 26th May 2023 to BRNGB, all funds raised go directly to the hounds.
Hounds like Bertie, who has been with us since February and has just undergone face and eye surgery to save his sight which cost £4,203.87; a small price to pay to ensure his future life is pain free and he keeps his sight (Warning graphic pictures!)
Your donations also ensure that we can help all hounds of all ages have the life they deserve and enjoy, like Betty, a 14 year old hound who came into our care in March; an older lady who suffers with older lady accidents. She will remain with us for life and get whatever medical help she requires as well as the love and care she deserves in her golden years

We are hoping that 2023 will be our best year yet! We appreciate that the cost of every day life has increased, we have felt this as a charity as well with the massive increase in vet bills; as well as more people surrendering their dogs because of the cost of living.
Between the 18th April 2023 and the 17th May 2023 we paid the total of £13,127.12 in vet bills, that’s just one month for the hounds that are in our care; like Tilly who was taken seriously poorly, needed over night treatment as well as a series of tests in excess of £3,500.00. This poor girl is so young, and deserves a full life after being used for breeding. She’s back home now with her foster family and making a full recovery. That’s where your donations go.

Donate the price of the coffee you would normally buy on your way to work on Friday
Donate the price of the sandwich you would normally buy at lunchtime on Friday
Donate the price of the G&T or beer you would normally have on your way home on Friday
Donate the price of the chocolate bar you would normally treat yourself to on a Friday
Get your work colleagues, friends and family involved, ask them to donate too!
Just a donation of a couple of pounds adds up and allows us to continue saving these hounds.
