September 2025 will see BRNGB turn 12 years old (9 years in March 2025 as a Registered Charity).
In this time we have only increased our adoption fees once. We always wanted our Hounds to be loved; rehomed; and adoption fees kept as low as possible.
Sadly with the increase of vet bills and medication we have had to increase our adoption fees this year for the second time ever. We’ve kept them as reasonable as possible, and be assured that we would not be profiting of any Basset being adopted by this increase. The new adoption fee barely covers initial vet consultations, worming and flea treatments, not taking into account any other treatments needed.
With a heavy heart, we have now published our new adoption fees; any hound adopted after the 1st June are subject to these new fees.
