A week in the life of a foster Hound

We're so excited to share with you a week in the life of a foster hound.

The spotlight this week is on Barney, the 11 year old hound who recently came into our care.

We initially thought he was 13 years old, but we've had confirmation he's actually 11.

A lovely boy, who is really coming out of his shell.

Please check in daily for his updates, he really is amazing!

Thank you to all his supporters, and of course his foster family for making these videos to show you a snapshot of his life with them.

Come back tomorrow for his next installment!

Day 1:-

Day 2

It's amazing what a little time to decompress, a pedicure and a little confidence can do.  Just look at this boy!

Day 3

Barney meets lots of new friends

Day 4

Everyone deserves a duvet day every now and then!

Day 5

Who doesn't love a beach adventure!

Day 6

Barney being a true basset is a real foodie!

And here we have Barney's last installment of his week

We really hope you've enjoyed seeing Barney's adventures as a foster hound and it has given you an insight into how our foster system works and where your donations go to help the hounds in our care

A huge thank you to Barney's foster family and friends for the videos as well as caring for Barney.  He's really started to show his true self and we look forward to watching him grow more whilst under assessment.

If you would like to donate towards Barney's care you can do so on the link below.

In the meantime, thank you Barney for being an absolute star of the show

Great work, no hound gets left behind. A true sentiment that is the embodiment of what this organisation is about. Great work team.

They do a good job of saving these hounds and finding special homes for life. They also work hard to raise money to pay for any vet bills.

We have the privilege of adopting Dylan. The whole process was seamless and very reassuring that they cover all bases, both in relation to vetting us and also in the assessment of the hound
