Barney

Who remembers Barney, in foster on the Isle of Mull?

Well we are so pleased to announce, he made a full recovery from his dental work and spent the weekend of the 18th November meeting and greeting his new mum and siblings…….all 11 of them!

As Barney was being fostered on the Isle of Mull and travelling there and back in a day is near impossible, Barney spent the whole weekend getting to know everyone, he gave them all his seal of approval and went home with them on the Sunday.

Not only was Barney our first to feature in “A Week in the LIfe of a Foster Hound” but he was the first Hound to ever have a sleep over Meet and Greet……….and also meet 11 new siblings as well as his new mum! Well done Barney and of course his foster parents for their hospitality of 46 legs for the weekend.

We’ve been getting amazing updates from his new family and he has settled in really well and is a very happy boy…..now on a different island!

He changed so much in foster, from a shy, nervous, doddery old man, to a playful, loving, enthusiastic Gentleman, this is why we assess our Hounds for as long as it takes, so their true nature can shine……..Be happy Barney, we are so proud of you!

Thank you so much to his foster parents for showing the world who this Gentleman really was
