This is the most bitter sweet Pink Sofa we’ve ever posted.
As is her Dad’s wishes Agnes has found her paws again and has been adopted by her emergency foster family. Since she’s been back in our care, they have sent daily diaries to her Dad, below is her final diary as a “foster”. We are still sending updates, we know how important Agnes is.
Please take a moment to read the final diary, it’s a true testament to Agnes, her dad and her now new family.
Thank you to everyone who has helped Agnes throughout her journey with us.
They say all good things come to an end Dad, you have been my good thing, my companion, my confidence and my hooman 
but fate has set us on a new path.
I officially have new hoomans, they hooman adopted me yesterday and my new life with them, in the country will now continue for always
Daddy, your only wish was to see me, happy, settled, enjoying life and cherished, well my life is all of those things and more. My new hoomans love me as you do, but now I get double fun as I have 2 new hoomans to call my own, and a complete new hooman and puppy family already we are talking Autumn picnic doggie walks to magical places with my new family holidays, and Basset waddle pawties my life is going to be awesome 
I will get to go away to festivals and county shows with the ponies, as lady hooman competes them, so think of all the fun I will have then and the mischief I can get up to and also trips to the beach 
fish and chips and ice cream 
I also know that they have taken their fur babies on steam train rides, so I hope I get to do all these things and more 
Please don’t be sad, today is my last post here, but it is au revoir and not goodbye, as I will do special updates for you

Please give a big BRNGB welcome back to Agnes. Some of you may remember “The Girl with No Name” who arrived in our care back at the end of 2023.

Agnes (The Girl with No Name) – BRNGB
Agnes was adopted and loved like no hound has ever been loved before. She was the Queen and ruled her dad with an iron paw. A celebrity in her neighbourhood and was so very happy.
Sadly a change in circumstances meant Agnes needed us 3 weeks ago, so she has been back with us in temporary care since then. She is now officially back in our care and, unsurprisingly, still the Queen and still ruling her kingdom with an iron paw!
Agnes has settled into her foster home like she’s never been there; she’s loving her new adventure and sends her dad a daily diary.
We offer all of our hounds full rescue back up for life, and at any stage in their life we will help if that help is requested and required.
Below is a snippet of Agnes’ new adventure, which is bitter sweet for us all, but her dad knows she is loved and having a ball.
We send all our love to Agnes dad and are grateful for the time, energy and love he gave Agnes since 2023 to help her become the diva she is today, from a Girl with No Name, to a queen with multiple servants!
