Hey there, I’m Harley, but you probably know me better as the hooligan extraordinaire.
I joined the BRNGB family in September 2021, as a foster, and then my foster family adopted me!
Life after adoption? It’s been a blast! I live with my mummy, daddy, two sisters (Dixie and Tilly), and two brothers (Milo and Domino).
Our house is like a revolving door for doggy visitors, thanks to our foster family status. It’s always a bit wild, but hey, I get to make tons of new friends and, let’s be real, the whole world revolves around me, so I get to boss everyone around.
It’s a ruff life, but someone’s gotta do it! When I first met my new parents, I was nervous with a touch of fear aggression and resource guarding. Thank goodness for mummy’s invention of this game where if I take something, she tosses a treat in the garden. It’s a hoot! I play it at least once a month now. I’m not scared of much anymore, except for kids screaming. But hey, when that happens, I just get my mummy/daddy/nanny/dampsy to carry me and cuddle me until I’m brave again.
Playing with my siblings is a riot, especially “bitey face” – it’s my jam. And let’s not forget how I love to bug my brother Milo.
Thankfully, BRNGB found me my sister Tilly. She’s the bomb! She’s my ultimate partner in crime. Dom rules the roost and keeps us all in line, but he lets me get away with being cheeky and doing whatever I want, which suits me just fine!
I’m a bit of an animal whisperer, known for finding animals and taking snoozes with them – Disney princess style, anyone? But wait, it gets better! My mummy and daddy went and got me my own pets! I’m now the proud owner of two tortoises, Franklin and Emerald. They’re a bit snooty, but I promise to keep them in line. Who knew I’d become a tortoise wrangler?
Here are a few things I absolutely adore: My squirrel toy (it’s my nemesis and my best friend) Coffee (I’m a caffeine-loving canine) Apple juice (gotta stay hydrated, you know) Annoying Milo (it’s a full-time job, but someone’s gotta do it) Tilly grooming me (it’s like a spa day, but better) Being carried like a princess (I mean, who wouldn’t love that?) Ice cream (I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream) Pig’s ears (a delicacy fit for a dog of my stature) Stealing mummy’s socks (it’s a hobby, really) TV remotes (my remote- I don’t like to share!!)
