Who remembers Barney, who was our “A week in the life of a foster Hound”?
Well here he is again kicking off our new feature “Wonderful Wednesday” which is going to run for a few weeks giving you updates on some of the Hounds who have been adopted.
As a recap – Barney came to the BRNGB family in September 2023 at 11 years old.
Here is what his wonderful Mum has to say about Barney:-
Where do I begin to tell you about Barney?
I adopted him last year; I have a pack of rescue dogs here on Skye. He had a super Foster home on Mull with Rebecca Kennedy.
It was an exciting trip to Mull with my 11 strong pack of dogs to meet Barney, which they all took in their stride.
He has fitted in so so well with my pack. He loves sharing his bed with the little dogs. He is well travelled with his own passport from Turkey…where he was a stud dog!!!
He loved the snow in January and running around the garden like a youngster.
He also had a fab time in Wagg Tail Woods, a local run free place.
He makes me smile every day and he is a gentle giant … Much loved and so well mannered. It’s as if he’s always been here
We are so pleased barney found his happy ever after and prouid of being part of his journey.
Thank you to all of Barney’s volunteers and of course his wonderful Mum for giving him the love and home he so deserves.
