HOLIDAY TIME Avaliable from now until the end of 2024!
The lovely Elaine Wilkinson has offered her lovely annex for a weeks holiday for humans and hounds in North Cornwall, which is not normally rented out.
It has all appliances – hob, oven, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment (more freezer space available), dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.
Open plan downstairs, kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Small tv, access to fibre to the housebroadband, downstairs loo. Upstairs – bedroom with double bed and lovely views leading to bathroom with a large shower.
There is no attached garden but there is lots of outside space and either the field or paddock the other side of the drive will be available (not 100% secure).
The village of St Teath is normally a 15 minute walk away, although it may be a bit longer depending on the basset! It has a post office, and a very dog friendly pub.A high percentage of places in Cornwall are dog friendly.
The nearest beach with easy access is Polzeath but no dogs are allowed between Easter and the end of September between 10am and 6pm. Rock is not much further and is dog friendly year round, a small ferry with take you across to Padstow. Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel are all within about a 15 minute drive. Perranporth, our very favourite beach, is about a 40 minute drive.
All we ask is if your hounds sleep with you you bring bedding and covers for the sofa. Dogs shouldn’t be left alone in the Annex either but Elaine will be happy to doggy sit for you with prior notice if avaliable.
