Thank you so much to Alicia Danielson, her partner Joe and Basset Ronnie for choosing BRNGB for their 100 miles in March challenge!
Here’s Alicia explaining why BRNGB:-
Me, Joe and Ronnie ? are walking 100 miles in March to raise money for Basset Rescue Network of Great Britain (BRNGB).
BRNGB is one of two Registered Basset Hound Charities in Great Britain, founded in 2013. They do amazing work for Basset Hounds and Basset cross breeds. The charity is run entirely on donations and by volunteers.
BRNGB use a volunteer network of foster homes, transporters and homecheckers throughout Great Britain. Dogs who have been surrendered to the rescue go in to a foster home throughout the UK where they are fully assessed for a minimum of six weeks before being advertised for adoption. During this time they will have any veterinary procedures that are required as well as being introduced to a variety of new experiences so they can find out exactly what kind of home would be perfect for them.
We are passionate about supporting them in helping such a unique, loving breed and we have recently signed up to be fosterers. We’re hoping to raise some money for BRNGB and to March our way into spring!
