Please give a warm BRNGB welcome to Ethel, the third hound who arrived into the family yesterday, hound number 650!!! That's a lot of hounds in just under 11 years.
Ethel is under assessment at present, she is not avaliable for adoption and any applications for her will go unanswered.
Ethel is 9 years old, 10 early next year and is proving to be a wonderful girl. She's very happy, loves to be as close to you as possible, loves her food and her walks. She's happy to get in the car to be off on an adventure, even if that adventure means meeting horses and wallowing in some mud!
Ethel has already been to the vets, as upon arrival it was apparent that she had blood in her urine. She has a course of antibiotics and will be back at the vets in the week for a further check up.
She has lump which will need checking and her ears and teeth need a clean.
None of this is stopping her being a funny little girl, she's just so happy and cuddly. A bit of a couch potato, the couch she has already claimed as her own!
Ethel does need a few bits and pieces to help her. Her list is below. The treats and finger bobbies will help, we hope, get some of the plaque off her teeth. The mats will give her somewhere in the house to wee if she doesn't make it outside whilst she's suffering with her UTI, foster mum is a dab hand with the mop though so no harm done!
If the list is empty then Ethel's wishes have come true. If you'd rather donate to her care there is a link below for donations as well.
Massive thank you to Ethel's transport team who collected Ethel with compassion and care, she really is one which they wanted to take home.
