Walk for Sophie

On the 26^th June 2022

We know Sophie's tragic story has reached, and touched, many hearts throughout the UK, we are very grateful to those who shared her story.

BRNGB and Sophie's foster family would like to find a way to turn our heartbreak into something positive, allowing Sophie's legacy to live on and help educate people on the side of breeding that is often not exposed.

On the 26^th June 2022, we are proposing that throughout the UK there is a "Walk for Sophie", held in multiple locations, leaving at the same time, to remember Sophie and provide an opportunity for our gorgeous hounds and slaves to have some fun.

These events are open to all families and breeds of dogs, so please spread the word, what happened to Sophie isn't just a Basset thing, the more we can educate and get people talking about what happened the better!

We would like to propose a small donation per family of £5.00 to attend so we can also raise money for the charity in Sophie's memory also, however this is about sharing what happened in hope we can save some other dogs having to suffer like Sophie. 

• Volunteers to help co-ordinate the events throughout the UK
• Suggested locations to plan the events
• Confirmation of who can attend.
