UPDATE 20th April 2024
Copper has been a joy to have in foster, he's battling ear infections which we fear will be a long term thing. All of his lumps and bumps came back clear and his teeth and gums have healed beautifully.
He's been sharing his foster home with Sissy, one of the triplets, and he really has become a comfort to her and vice versa, they have really bonded. His calm, bassety ways a perfect match for her sassy ways, chalk and cheese!
They've bonded so well, not only with each other but to their foster family as well that Copper is going no where and his adoption has been confirmed to stay with his foster family and Sissy!
Amazing news for them both, we are so pleased they've found each other and their places in the world.
Thank you to all of Copper's supporters and volunteers for being a part in his journey.
Congratulations Copper, now don't let that Sassy Sissy peck your head too much!
Copper joined the BRNGB family in October and is proving to be a very speedy, but lazy, loving hound.
His favorite was to pass the time inbetween naps is judging his foster family when they won't share food with him, he has food allergies which we will get to the bottom of, so no sharing for now Copper!
Update
Copper has had 4 teeth removed as his teeth and gums were very badly infected; not only were they painful for him, they were incredibly smelly generally disgusting! He had already had 5 removed before he came to us, so hopefully with these last few removed the infection will now clear up and his remaining teeth will be clear and remain where they should be!
He's also had his ear flushed as it was badly infected, hopefully when he has his follow up appointment there will be good news with his ear.
He has some nasty lumps and bumps which are being tested, again hopefully good news will be forthcoming with these results.
Copper is living with Sassy Sissy in foster, and they have really hit if off, and get on wonderfully.
