Cluseau has been signed off from the vets regarding his recent surgery and they are happy with how he is healing and progressing.
So the next question we had to ask Lenny, was whether he was going to be writing Cluseau's blog to find his forever family. We think you all know the answer Lenny gave us! So we sent the adoption paperwork to Lenny and his mum kindly, and very excitedly completed the paperwork.
We are so very pleased to announce that Cluseau will not be going anywhere! Not only has he formed a very strong and fast bond with Lenny, his mum and dad, even BRNGB boy Nelson has warmed to him; but we knew how settled Cluseau was with his family, he finds his way around the house and garden happily, he knows where his place is on the sofa (normally cuddled up with Lenny) we couldn't imagine him having to move and start the process somewhere else.
Fostering a blind dog is a huge ask for our foster families. We often have Hounds with disabilities surrendered to us which we have some wonderful foster families who are experienced and happy to foster. We are just so pleased that Cluseau's family jumped at the chance of having him to stay to be assessed with them, and even happier that he settled so quickly and is staying forever more.
Congratulations Cluseau (and Lenny!)
Massive thank you to everyone who supported Cluseau, his volunteers, donators and well wishers.

Cluseau is such a wonderful boy! He has adapted so well with his move, he mooches about happily. He learnt to navigate the house quickly and with ease. He has even made friends with BRNGB boy Nelson who was adopted a few months ago.
He is especially close with Lenny the resident foxhound and is normally found cuddling up with him.
Cluseau has had his initial vet check, he's had his booster and it was felt a little weight was needed to go on. He enjoys his food so we don't foresee putting on a couple of pounds will be an issue.
He is really relaxed and has found his voice ad isn't afraid to use it when he feels the need.
We have Cluseau's vet records from his previous owner's vet and it appears he has a form of alopecia. It had also been noted that he had lost 5KG of weight in a short space of time and a blood test had been recommended.
Cluseau was booked in to have his neutering but we have put that on hold until we have the blood test carried out and have a better understanding of what is going on with him. He's had the blood test including thyroid test, we are just waiting for the results which we hope to be back soon. Cluseau also has a lump on his side by his back leg which, when everyone is satisfied he can have surgery, this will be removed as well.
Shortly after Cluseau joined his foster family they lost their resident Jack Russell; Cluseau has helped heal their hearts following their loss. Fostering works both ways, not only is Cluseau being loved dearly and helped get the treatment he requires, but he’s helping heal the hearts of others.
Once we have Cluseau’s results we will update further. In the meantime, enjoy his snuggly photos and thank you for all of your support for him.

Lovely lad Cluseau joined the BRNGB family this weekend. He's had quite the adventure getting to his foster and travel like a total dream.
As you can see Cluseau is totally blind, but that hasn't stopped him exploring his foster home and garden. He's been on a lovely walk and has fallen in love with the resident foxhound!
He's a lovely boy and we look forward to watching him grow in our care.
He does need a few bits and pieces and we have included a wish list below. He loves sprats and pigs ears which are his favorite! He will need to be neutured and will be having a vet check up in the next few days. If you would like to donate to his care then the link to do so is also below.
Thank you to his transporters and all of you that got him to us
