Well Violet, what can we say? What an adventure being a foster hound has been for you!
You've been to the pub, you've been hiking in Wales, camping in Wales, been out and about meeting everyone and anyone, been paddling in the sea, she explored a university when dropping her human foster brother off, helped herself to a chicken roll in the pet shop, oh and made friends with a hedgehog. To round up, she is loving life.
Your skin has cleared up, your eyes and ears are doing so well now. from a hound who was fed up of being pulled and pushed around, growling at the resident children, itchy, sore and grumpy, she is a true joy to be around and loves all of her adventures and her new life.
As you can see from the photos her foster family have made Violet the centre of their universe so when they asked if she could stay forever, who were we to say no!
So congratulations Violet on finding your forever home. We look forward to hearing more about all of your adventures and are so pleased to have been part of your journey.
Masive thank you to all of Violet's supporters, transporters and of course her first emergency foster family as well as her now adopted family, without you all Violet would not be living her best life.

Violet would like to thank you for all of her wish list goodies - see below, she's got her happy face on!
Violet has been to the vet, her weight is 24.8kg which we are all happy with, we certainly wouldn't want her to get any heavier. The advice for her skin was to use sudocrem and get some oat shampoo when bathing her. The vet was not concerned about her eyes believe its just the "basset eye". We will of course keep an eye (no pun intended) on them.
Her ears a little gunky but there are no concerns, they just need a good cleaning.
We have included a couple of bits on another wish list for Winter, including a donut; the vet suggested a cone, but this seems to freak Violet out. This is to try to stop Violet nibbling her sore skin so it gets the chance to heal. She is a very nervous girl and will look to her humans for comfort and confidence. She is also quite aloof in the house. She's happy in her own company.
She has been out and about, and is happy to see people and dogs, some she would greet, have a sniff then walk away.
If you are able to donate to Violet's second wish list to help her heal her skin we would be grateful. The list is below.
You could also buy a raffle ticket to be in with the chance of winning up to £200 worth of Amazon vouchers, the link for this is also below.
Meanwhile please enjoy Violet having her bath today and thank you so much for all of your continued support.

Please welcome nearly 3 year old Violet to the BRNGB family. She arrived in the last few days.
Violet is under assessment, she is not ready to be adopted and any enquiries regarding her will go unanswered.
Violet came to us from a family with children who were playing with and pulling Violet around. They hadn't had Violet very long and thankfully they listened to her warning grumbles and growls and surrendered her into our care. We are really pleased they made that decision rather than Violet being left in situations she wasn't comfortable with which could have resulted in a bite.
Violet's skins is very sore, she has many fleas and looking at her eyes, possibly, at least cherry eye as well as an eye infection.
Violet will be going for her vet check in the next few days and we will know more about her health after that.
She's being a lovely girl, she enjoys her walks, although is shy of people and other dogs.
