Sherman is still going from strength to strength, although he did lose some weight after being neutered, he has managed to put that back on and hit 26.8KG when he went to the vet for his final check up and sign off following his surgery and teeth removal.
Sherman does show signs of food aggresion around the other hounds so he is fed on his own, bowls up and then they can all be back together again.
There are also signs of being fear reactive when out and about towards other dogs which the foster family are working on and will continue to do so.
Now the best news is, as his 6 week foster assessment has come to an end, his foster family have decided they don't want to part with him and he is to stay with them forever.
We are so pleased with this news and sure Sherman will continue to flourish with their love and care. His previous family are so pleased he's settled and is loved which is exactly what they wanted for him, something they couldn't give him. A wonderful end to his journey as a BRNGB foster hound.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, trasnporters, supporters and donators.

We have amazing news about Sherman; he has reach his ideal weight which is amazing considering his stomach issues and how underweight he was when he came in.
He's recently had to have 17, yes seventeen teeth removed. Poor boy was so sore afterwards which is understandable. He's also now been neutured.
He's been signed off by the vet now and he's looking forward to getting out and about again.
He really is a wonderful little boy now at 26.8kg.

Sherman joined the BRNGB family on the 10th March.
He appeared to be underweight when he joined, and is slowly gaining weight. He just loves porridge in the morning!
He has suffered with an upset stomach, so it was decided at his vet check that blood tests would be carried out to ensure there is no underlying issues to explain why he can't put on weight. We are waiting the test results.
Sherman was happy enough at the vets, and has been a star going to different places inlcuding a coffee shop where he met lots of different people, enjoyed a fuss and being hand fed chicken!
He's been to the beach, been to local parks and is generally enjoying life with his foster siblings.
He's settled at night after the initial few nights when he would shout for attention when left to go to bed. He's been left home alone for a couple of hours and was perfect.
Sherman really is a joy to be around.
