Congratulations to Buddy who was officially adopted today, 11th February.
Buddy had been in our care since May 2023. He had a difficult start to foster life, he had some back pain which was overcome by rest and a short spell of medication; he was showing signs of epilepsy which thankfully hasn't reared it's head again since he has been on medication.
He moved into foster in Wales in October when it became apparent he wasn't enjoying sharing his space with other hounds. Here he thrived and became a very much loved hound in his foster family.
It's a bitter sweet day for his foster family who know he will have a brilliant life with his new family but he will be very much missed, leaving a big hole in their lives and hearts. Thank you so much for your care and love of Buddy and for your selfless act of letting him go onto his new life.
The same to his first foster family, who we know loved Buddy as one of their own and were also heartbroken to see him leave them.
Good luck Buddy, we look forward to seeing you enjoy your new life!
